For years I've wanted a real digital camera. I really had my eye on one of those fancy schmancy DSLRs or what have you, but I figured I'd never be able to afford/feel worthy of them, so I finally went ahead and spent some of the $$ my dad sent me for my birthday and got a Nikon Coolpix L100.
I suppose it's what you might call "mid-range": bigger than a credit card, 10 mpx, 15x optical zoom. That's all I really need to take pictures of the dog, anyway. I still have a lot of figuring out to do (why do all cameras shoot JPG format? JPGs are for the internet!)
